Anthem Seniors’ legacy of serving seniors started long before the 16 years in Anthem, AZ. Our servant driven leader Sam, is one of 7 born in a Christian family who all have dedicated their careers to serving others. The strong family roots, work ethic and the passion guide the caring style at our facilities. Simply put, we put the seniors first. Afterall, we are here to serve them; therefore it’s all about Their Music, Their temperature, Their food, Their schedule etc. Many use “Red Carpet Treatment” as analogy, we on the other hand roll it out daily.
Jana Hower, is a native of Phoenix, Arizona. Her career includes nearly a decade in the Emergency Department, as well as Family Practice and Cardiology. Her passion is to assist the individual in the alleviation of suffering, while working to restore optimum health to patients through individualized care that puts the patient first. We are so excited to be working with Jana!
Tracey has added value to our team way beyond her skillset as a RN. She is truly passionate about the seniors and has demonstrated a true passion for making seniors matter. Although she is an RN, she is also an incredible cook who frequently treats our residents with her masterpieces. We can’t thank her enough for her loyalty, commitment and passion for our mission.
Carlos is a local celebrity as far as the residents are concerned. His positive energy and laugh is contagious and lightens up everyone’s day. Although Carlos has been part of the our family for over 7 years. He is physically fit but also mentally fit to handle the many struggles our seniors face psychologically. He has the patience needed and the willingness to serve that you can’t find easily.
Sam is an individual who has the right heart for this industry. Known in Anthem by it’s residents and business owners for a genuine and REAL person. From the very early age of 14, Sam started as an activity director in Assisted Living. His passion for the elderly and work ethic stemmed from his upbringing in a large European family. His advocacy for seniors is unparalleled and his charisma is made evident the moment you witness him interacting with the seniors. Sam always had a passion for people although he graduated college with a bachelor of science degree at the age of 19. Anthem Senior Living was the first Assisted Living Facility in Anthem established in 2001. Sam took over his family’s business in Anthem in 2003, and over the last 21 years it’s remained the only 5 star facility in Anthem. “Over the years many Assisted Living Homes came and went in Anthem” Sam says, ” it’s a heart business, and it will not thrive if you do not truly have a passion and empathy for the elderly”. Sam attributes his success to Loving God and Loving People.
