I have written reviews before but, none as important as this one. My Mother is currently living at one of Sam’s homes. It was one of the hardest decisions our family has ever had to make. Not because we heard awful things about Sam’s homes, actually just the opposite. We tried to keep my Mother in her home after my Father/Grandpa had passed, with a 24 hour caregiver. My Mother became more confused, agitated, and extremely depressed. She also lost a significant amount of weight. We met with Sam, Tracy, Jordin, and Ernesto and instantly knew the only place we would ever want our Mother/Grandma to live was with them. It was heart breaking trying to explain to my Mom why she could no longer take care of herself. It took her a few weeks to adjust to her new, beautiful and loving home. She now she refers to the house as her home. She has also put a little weight on thanks to the delicious and healthy meals combined with a patient and loving environment. Each and every person in her new home has shown her so much love and kindness. Tracy takes her to workout at “her gym” 3 times per week, she helps Jordin & Ernesto prepare meals, set the table, goes grocery shopping and loves “working” in her beautiful yard & garden. ASL has given my Mom a purpose to live. We truly feel our Mom/ Grandma is there to live her life, not to die. There are no other facilities like ASL anywhere. Sam’s homes are nothing like nursing homes or memory care institutions. When I talk to my Mom on the phone she brags about her new home, laughs, is pleasant and always has “something” to do. Prior to moving in to her ASL home my Mom would sit home with nothing to do, she felt overwhelmed and could not even imagine a future without her husband. I am finally able to sleep through the night without waking up in a panic worrying about all the awful things that could be happening with or to my Mom. I will be forever grateful to Sam and the caring, compassionate people at my “Mom’s home”:)! Thank you! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart! ASL homes set the standard for how every loved one should be taken care of in their Golden Years:)
I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful care that Sam and all the staff at Anthem Senior Living (ASL) provided to my mother. She was 79 years old and quite sick when she entered ASL. They cared for her as if she were their own mother. They were kind and compassionate. Our family rested easier knowing that our mother was receiving the highest quality of care. If I needed assisted living myself, I would hope my family would place me with ASL, as I cannot image there are other places that attend to their residents’ needs with the care and attentiveness that ASL showed to my mother. My siblings and I are eternally grateful for the help we received with our mom. We highly recommend ASL without reservation. If you have need for senior care for a loved one, you cannot go from with ASL.
Our son is 33 years old and was a mathematician before he developed a neuromuscular disease which left him partially paralyzed. Now he is a resident of Anthem Senior Living and every day we are thankful for the skillful compassionate care he receives at ASL. The staff are experienced, kind, and supportive. We now have peace of mind that he will be well cared for on a 24-hour basis. The group house is spacious with a peaceful back yard and the food we are told is exceptional. The owner Sam Ile is always available for experienced counsel and advise. We appreciate all that Sam and his talented staff have done and continue to do to support our family. We highly recommend ASL to help you care for your loved one in a compassionate, caring, and safe environment.
Sam, Tracey and the entire staff at Anthem Senior Sanctuary welcomed my mother Marilyn Olson (a long time resident in Anthem) with open arms in May into this wonderful senior living home in Anthem. My 93 year old mom moved here after a hospital and rehab following an injury. She was on a great deal of pain and could not get comfortable. The love and care that she received by everyone at this beautiful house was beyond imagination. Not only did they treat my Mom with kindness and love, us family members were treated equally as well. I felt very comfortable and at peace leaving her at night. I cannot express my gratitude especially to Stacy and Ella for being so kind and patient with her especially during the night, which was her worst time. Sam, Tracy and Carlos manage this incredible place with grace, empathy and professionalism.
Sam and his team were kind enough to give me a sneak peek of this place and I have to say I CANNOT WAIT for the launch of this beautiful home! Every detail of this place is carefully thought out and planned with so much love for Seniors. The beautiful and spacious private suites provide a sense of tranquility and comfort from floor to ceiling. The common areas are bright and open! The backyard and patios are absolutely beautiful, so welcoming and fun for families and friends who I’m certain won’t want to leave! They thought of everything to make seniors thrive in the comfort of this beautiful home. Just call ahead and ask for a private tour and even reserve a room in advance so you don’t miss out because this place will fill up very quickly!
In February of 2023, I reluctantly had to admit that I could no longer keep my mother safe at my home. After an exhaustive search, she moved into Anthem Senior Manor. The property is beautiful and speaks for itself. Sam and his staff have been amazing. The staff genuinely cares about mom and have been very patient with me as I have learned to let go of her care. I feel that mom is home.
Anthem Senior Manor has thus far met and exceeded our expectations. Our concerns and stressors regarding our Father’s relocation from Texas to Arizona dissipated rapidly as we embarked on the facility. Sam and the entire staff truly cherish their home and all residents involved. As Dad has settled in we continue to be impressed and grateful. He is assisted with any needs necessary while still maintaining his privacy and dignity. The staff’s focus on nutrition and hydration has certainly been appreciated by my sister and I as for we realize its importance regarding the overall health of our loved ones. Just a note to share how appreciative our family is at the excellent transition you and your team have provided for mom. Mom had a rough time of it going through hospitalization for a stroke, then a stay at rehab before getting to you and the team at Anthem Senior Living. Needless to say, that is quite an ordeal and disorienting.
You and the staff at Anthem Senior Living have done everything we could hope for, from completely redecorating her room, to arranging for her physical therapy and physician visits, updating her care plan – it is quite a list! The adjustment to new medications and a proper sleep schedule was extraordinarily complex and challenging, but you and your staff pulled it all off. It was an amazing amount of work and perseverance to the goal. Having mom live at Anthem Senior Living has taken a lot of worry off our hands and provided continuum of care that was needed.
Beyond her health needs, we are very much appreciative of the attention to socialization, holiday celebrations, and providing activities that help maintain a sense of life and enjoyment. Truly, the professionalism and care shown to mom have put you at the top of our list. I have found that all senior living organizations I checked out tout that they provide good care, but there are only a few that actually perform at a level of Excellence, and I am so grateful we found one of them.

I would like everyone to know what a wonderful resource we have here in Anthem, Sam has recently helped us find the perfect location for our mom. Sam at Anthem Seniors also has a network of assisted homes with the same philosophy, the level of really really caring for their residents is just amazing! They also have the policy of price lock for life so our mom can gracefully age in place no matter what which also gives us peace.
